Pink Tulle Baby Shower

Today we're sharing this adorable pink tulle baby shower.  The mom-to-be's sister hosted a shower in honor of her future niece that featured a palette of baby pink, silver and white.  We designed the custom tulle table skirt that adorned the dessert table.  Guests tables were decorated with a silver runner and a fun balloon centerpiece in a silver glitter vase stuffed with pink tulle.

The glowing mom-to-be was all smiles.

The happy parents!

Guests were invited to sign a pink frame that would later hang on the wall in the baby's nursery.

5 Ways to Create a Beautiful Thanksgiving Dinner

Hi there!  Can you believe it's November already?  And we all know what that means...Thanksgiving! You have planned your menu, sent out invitations and perfected your recipes.  Now you must put it all together and set the atmosphere for a beautiful dinner gathering.  We are here to help by sharing 5 elements to incorporate to make your Thanksgiving dinner a gorgeous experience.

1. COLORS OF FALL - Nothing says fall like pretty shades of brown and orange.  However, other neutral tones can create beautiful autumn decor as well.  Consider greys, beiges or even a palette of all white.

2. BRING IN NATURE - Take your search for fall decor outside.  Pumpkins, pinecones, and branches make lovely centerpieces.

3. FOOD PRESENTATION - Don't stop the decorating at the dinner table.  Set up a food table with matching serveware and a framed menu.  Food should look as good as it tastes!

4. USE YOUR BEST - Thanksgiving is the perfect time to bring out the fine china, pretty candles and sophisticated linen.

5. DON'T FORGET THE KIDS - Let's face it, children and fine china do not mix!  The solution? Create a separate kid-friendly dining area.  Use cute Thanksgiving-themed paperware, offer a craft and keep the decor simple.  Everyone's happy!

What are your favorite Thanksgiving decor tips?

Happy Turkey Day!

EXTRA SUPPLIES

With budget and salary cuts, many of today's teachers are limited by the amount of materials and supplies provided by their schools.  As a result, teachers often find themselves purchasing supplies with their personal funds.  Sending extra school supplies for your child's teacher will definitely be appreciated.

Wedding Budget Savers - Five Things You Can Do Without

Weddings cost a lot of money.  A LOT of money!  One of the most stressful aspects of wedding planning is managing the budget.  It can be overwhelming trying to plan your dream wedding while staying realistic about expenses.  However, there are several ways to have a beautiful wedding without breaking the bank.  Read on for five ways to trim your wedding costs.

WEDDING FAVORS

Unless it is something very useful or edible, most wedding favors get tossed away or forgotten.  We say do away with the favors altogether.  If you insist on having them, choose something that can be reused like wine glasses or food that can be saved for later like jam or candy.

A FULL BAR

Instead of offering a complete bar for the entirety of your reception, we suggest serving a signature cocktail or beer and wine only.  Also, consider only opening the bar during the cocktail hour and after dinner.  Most caterers charge based on consumption, so limiting the amount of time the bar is available can definitely save money.  Don't forget to impose a last call an hour before your reception ends!

THE GUEST LIST

Ok, we know you want to invite everyone to your wedding, from your kindergarten teacher to your mother's best friend's sister's cousin.  However, the cost of your wedding is directly proportional to the amount of guests that attend. Try not inviting co-workers or children.  Also, if you haven't had contact with someone in over a year..you may not want to extend an invitation.

FLOWERS

Big, bright blooms at a wedding can be extremely beautiful.  They can also be extremely expensive. In lieu of extravagant floral centerpieces, choose smaller versions and add more candles.  As for the bridal party, let your bridesmaids carry one elegant flower instead of a bouquet.  You can also hop on YouTube and take a try at DIY'ing your own bouquets.

THE CAKE

There is nothing like spending a small fortune on a wedding cake only to have most of it left at the end of the reception.  Keep in mind that not all guests will choose to have cake.  Therefore, go with the design you love, but have your baker create a smaller version.  You can also not have cake at all. Cupcakes and cakepops can be be beautiful and add an element of fun to your wedding.
